Paul Karrlsson-Willis - Executive Director
Paul has over 40 years experience in the financial services industry where he has successfully grown products and businesses. He has used this knowledge and his many contacts in the non-profit arena over the past 15 years, as a board member, volunteer and fund raiser. Paul recently was CEO of JUSTLY Markets an IMPACT broker dealer where he focused on helping minority owned businesses find funding.
Kathy Burke - Board Member
Kathy is a scientist with a background in reproductive health and HIV, who has worked in both the non-profit sector and the Federal government in the US, and more recently, as a teacher in the UK. She has been involved for many years with a number of educational and health-related charities, either as a Trustee, fundraiser or advisor. She holds an MSc in Genetics from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Huw Jones - Founder & President
Huw has over 25 years’ experience working in Africa. He was a professional safari guide for many years, and subsequently worked on social development projects for rural communities including a countrywide eLearning programme and a large donor funded agricultural development programme. Huw has also consulted for the United Nations, the World Bank and worked for UK local government. Huw is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and holds an MSc in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia.
Bill Regan - Board Member
Bill has dedicated his professional life to discovering, developing, and launching a wide variety of medicines to treat and diagnose unmet medical need diseases. The Regan Family Fund for Giving has granted funds for medical, artistic and family support purposes. Currently he is a board member for other charities and he is always enthused to participate in charity events as a primary sponsor. He is passionate to join the board of Virtual Doctor’s and he keen to help execute on their important mission.
