WINDOW ROCK — When John Claw Jr., was interviewed by the Navajo Times about 30 years ago during one of the occasions when Navajo tribal officials celebrated the Great Navajo Seal, Claw said he was still feeling proud that they chose his design.
At the time he submitted his design, Claw was only 16 years old. He was one of many who submitted a design when the Navajo Tribe decided to hold a contest.
Now, with his passing this past week at the age of 82, his
