The San Juan College Planetarium will entertain and educate audiences April 7 with a planetarium showing of “Sunstruck” followed by a stargaze during AstroFriday. Shows begin at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Stargaze will be held (weather permitting) at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free and seating is limited.

Violet Noise concert
DURANGO, Colo. – Violet Noise, the Chinle High School band, will perform April 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the Durango Friends Meeting House (803 County Road 233). Band plays blues, jazz, and rock. FARMINGTON – The Farmington Museum Foundation Navajo Rug Auction will be held April 8 from 4-6 p.m. The auction will feature 200-plus authentic Navajo rugs of all sizes, styles, and price ranges. ‘Redress: Upcycled Style’ traveling exhibit
FARMINGTON – The traveling exhibit “Redress: Upcycled Style” by Nancy Judd is currently on display at the Farmington Museum. The exhibit features couture fashion and accessories made from recycled items. Judd’s creations have been exhibited worldwide and accepted into the Smithsonian Institution collection.
