Car rentals are weekly or 28 day rentals. The price includes insurance coverage through Buber Cars and includes all taxes and fees charged by the city and state. The car must be brought back for inspection at the end of the rental agreement, at which point a new agreement can be signed if desired.
If you wish to set up a plan to own the Tesla that you drive, we have a plan. If you plan to drive long term that car can be yours.
Two things must happen
Once these qualifications are met, we will sign the vehicle over to you free and clear. Do not worry if you want to do this program and for some reason you need to discontinue, the money is not wasted. The rental is the rental, same as anyone else, but the $100 extra car payment is refundable. So, say you entered into this agreement, you paid into it for 50 weeks and you get sick, decide to move, just hate it, whatever. The $100 payments, in this case $5000 will be returned to you in 30 days or less once the termination paperwork has been filed. Thus, it essentially becomes a savings account that if fulfilled is used to by the car, if not it is yours. If the rental contract is terminated for cause, (i.e. You get caught drinking and driving, the car is damaged by you, the car is used in a crime etc.) all funds are vacated by the renter.
A separate purchase agreement must be signed within the first 60 days of the initial rental period. To terminate and receive the funds back a separate agreement nullifying the purchase and acknowledgement of funds receipt must be signed and notarized. This program is totally voluntary. Renters are not required to participate in this program in any way.
